This week I got some incredible cucumbers at the grocery store and decided to try something new.
After a rough chop, I added 1/2 cup each of Red Wine vinegar, Apple Cider vinegar and my favorite of favorites this AMAZING Aged Balsamic Vinegar I bought on Broughton Street in downtown Savannah.
I tossed in some salt, pepper, garlic, and a splash of olive oil and mixed it up.
After all that, I put it in a mason jar and stuck it in the fridge until dinner.
DELICIOUSLY simple. They were the perfect addition to the pulled pork sandwiches and baked beans that had cooked all day in the crock pot. I only wish I had thrown a few tomatoes and onions in there too. Oh well, next time…
